Support
Help with Answa — for the businesses that use it, and for their customers.
Email us
One address reaches a person at Answa. There is no ticket number to quote and nothing to sign up for.
Tell us what happened in your own words. If you can, include these — they are what a first reply would otherwise have to ask for, which costs you a day:
- Your business name.
- Your Answa phone number, if you have one yet.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- Roughly when it happened, if it was a particular call.
What happens after you write
A real person reads it. We will not put a response time on this page, because it would be a promise made on behalf of whoever opens that inbox and you would find out it was fiction at the worst possible moment. What we can tell you is the order things get read in, which is the part you can act on:
- Anything stopping your line being answered goes first. Put URGENT in the subject and say what is broken in the first sentence.
- Billing goes next, and the sooner the better — a charge you never meant to make is much easier to put right in the same month.
- Everything else is read in the order it arrives.
Heard nothing and the problem is still live? Write again on the same thread. A second message is not a nuisance here — it is the signal that something is still broken, and it moves you up.
Support is by email. We do not run a phone line or a live chat, and we would rather say so plainly than have you spend an afternoon looking for a number that does not exist.
If you already use the Answa app
There is a shorter route from inside the app: Settings › Contact us opens a message with your business name, account ID and Answa numbers already filled in, so you never have to go and find them.
Deleting your account is something you can do yourself, without writing to anyone. Open Settings › Account & team and scroll to the Danger zone card at the bottom: the button there says Close this business if you are the owner, and Delete my account if you are on somebody else’s team. Either one opens a screen that spells out what you are about to lose before anything happens. What is removed, and what we are required to keep, is set out in the Privacy Policy. You can also email us to ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it.
If a business called or texted you
Answa answers the phone for small businesses, so the call or message you got came from the shop, salon or garage you dealt with — under their name and their number. For anything about your own order or appointment, they are the fastest people to ask.
To stop text messages, reply STOP to the message and they end immediately. Reply HELP for help. The full text message program — what is sent, how often, and how consent is given on the call — is on our text messages page.
If you would rather not go back to the business, write to us at support@answa.net and say which business and which number, and we will help.
